Columbia Gorge Community College Welcome

Columbia Gorge Community College epitomizes what it means to be a college of the community. The institution has met the increasingly diverse needs of Gorge residents and businesses on both sides of the Columbia River since its foundation in 1977. This session will provide an overview of select training programs offered at Columbia Gorge Community College pertinent to local workforce needs, including Electro-Mechanical Technology, Business Management, and Computer Science.

Mary Kramer

Mary Kramer has been an Instructional Director at CGCC for over ten years. She oversees the Career and Technical Education programs, and the Science and Math departments. Additionally, she serves on the Wasco County Economic Development Commission and the Oregon Student Success Advisory Board. Before joining CGCC, Mary directed the Area Agency on Aging program at Mid-Columbia Council of Governments and prior to that coordinated secondary career and technical education programs and federal Carl Perkins funds for Region 9 Education Service District.

 She is past vice president of the American Association of Women in Community Colleges and is an active member on Oregon’s Council of Instructional Administrators.
