Presenter Bio: 

Nichole Biechler currently holds the position of Human Resources Director for Wasco County. Nichole grew up in The Dalles and can appreciate the unique characteristics that small towns possess. Nichole earned her B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies from Western Oregon University. She went on to graduate with her MBA from Marylhurst University as well as a certification in Human Resource Management from Portland State University. She obtained her SHRM-CP designation in 2016.

In addition to her role as HR Director, Nichole is active in a variety of organizations and activities in our small community. Nichole currently sits on the Board for the Mid-Columbia Community Concert Association, as the Secretary. She provided a platform for local HR professionals, focused on networking and professional development, by founding the Columbia Gorge HR Professionals group.  In her free time, Nichole enjoys spending time with her family and friends and exploring the greatness of local craft breweries and wineries of the Pacific Northwest.
